Day 1: London - Tales from a Jet-Lagged Zombie

The good news is, we made the flight over to London in about 8 hours. The bad news is, we are starting to get a heavy dose of jet lag. Sleeping on the plane was pretty rough and we have been up for about 25 hours straight now.

The tour guide suggested that we push through tonight, and keep from power napping as it would keep us on US sleep schedule. I am doing my best to make it to 9:00 pm tonight before crashing. Josh....is power napping.

Regardless of the sleeping strategy we choose, it is easy to see this trip is going to be fun. We spent most of today wandering without goal through downtown London, and it couldn't have been better. In an hour or so, we will be taking another trip on the Tube to downtown with our tour guide to explore Big Ben and Tower of London. Hopefully the tour concludes with a few pints of overpriced beer and a quick trip back to our hotel to crash. I can resist the temptation to sleep only so long....

Cheers,

Russell

The Final Countdown

Hey guys - welcome to our poorly written and inconsistent blog about our adventure to Europe. Blogging is a relatively new venture for both of us, but we'll do our best to keep you up to date on the funny, strange and the mundane over the next month (I would have included crazy, but there won't be any of that).

In four hours, we will be on the plane heading across the Atlantic, but for now we are enjoying American pizza and soaking in the last bit of the States. Here's to Memorial Day and the start of an interesting June.

Cheers (I think thats what they say in London),

Russell
