Day 2: London - First full day as a loud American tourist

Well this morning started out great, amazing really.  Something like 10 hours on a small cot on the hotel room floor does wonders when being up for 2 days straight.  After carb loading as much as possible during the free breakfast, our group went off for a hop on-hop off bus tour of the city.

After a quick ride in on the Tube, which we are now experts at navigating I might add, we started on our open air, 2 story bus ride through the clogged streets of Westminster and the City of London.  After a few stops we had lunch on the steps of St. Paul's Cathedral, again becoming economically cheap and getting food from a food market.  Rode over the tower bridge and had photo opportunities in front of the Tower of London.  Then after an eventful and humor filled river cruise, we continued our tour at Westminster Abbey, where all of you probably watched that one wedding where someone important got married I think.

After a quick stop at some shops and the famous department store Harrod's, me and Russell left the group and are now ready to clean off a day's worth of soot before heading back into town for a group dinner at our guide's favorite pub, Albert's.  See you tomorrow!

Cheers, (that's how you talk like you're from London)
